Save money on the latest televisions from Samsung, Sony, LG and more with the best TV deals the UK has to offer

We saw some of the best TV deals around at the back end of 2022 but there are still plenty of great bargains to be had in the opening couple months of 2023.

Black Friday saw some serious discounts across AO, John Lewis, Currys, Box, Argos and Amazon who all slashed prices on TVs from a wide range of manufacturers, with many matching each other's prices to remain competitive. Some of those prices have shot back up now that Black Friday has been and gone, but many TVs remain on offer and some are available even cheaper than they were during the biggest sales event of the year.

With so many offers flying around, it can be hard to know which is the best TV deal for you. To help you make a smart buying decision, we've collated a list of what we consider the best TV deals from the UK's leading retailers.

The deals below cover a broad spectrum of prices, manufacturers and screen sizes, so regardless of whether you're looking for a compact 32in option for your second bedroom, a top-of-the-range Quantum Dot OLED to maximise your immersion while watching films or the perfect TV for gaming, they'll be an option for you.

The best TV deals this month

1. 55in Sony A75K (was £2,099; now £1,099)

Should you fancy a large-screen 4K TV with impressive specs, this deal on the Sony A75K is not to be missed. It's Sony's entry-level OLED this year and has never been this cheap.

2. 58in Hisense A6BG (was £599; now £399)

If 55in isn't quite going to cut it and 65in is a little too large, this option from Hisense may strike the perfect balance between price and size. It's a no-frills 4K TV that runs Hisense's VIDAA U OS and has a Sports mode too.

3. 55in LG NANO 80 6PA (was £899; now £399)

The 55NANO806PA from the Nano 80 series of LG TVs was released in 2021 and offers crystal clear 4K UHD picture at a 60Hz refresh rate across its bezel-less, ultra-thin screen. This 55in model originally retailed for £899 so nabbing it a couple of years later for only £399 is pretty exceptional value that you won't find elsewhere since this TV is hard to come by these days.

The only problem is Sonic Direct doesn't deliver everywhere in the UK, so only a select few can take advantage of this deal. Check out if that's you by adding the item to your basket and inputting your postcode.

4. 55in Samsung QN85B (was £994, now £949 after cashback)

Samsung's flagship TV panel is called Neo QLED and the 55in QN85B was the best value of the bunch at its July 2022 launch price of £1,530. Today though, you can nab it for £949 after cashback and enjoy its tiny LEDs that offer much finer control of light than other sets. There's plenty to enjoy on its 4K screen too, with support for Bixby, Google Assistant and Alexa and all the streaming services you could need via its easy-to-use Tizen OS system. It's not quite a record-low price of £899 but still some handy savings

5. 55in Sony A80J (was £1,147; now £998)

The A80J is part of Sony's 2021 lineup and we described it as a “first-class all-rounder” in our review earlier this year. It received a five-star rating at its RRP of £1,299 and you can get it for a snip today - albeit not as low as £895 we've seen it fall to previously. You can also save £200 on a soundbar using code SONYSAVE200 when you purchase.

6. 43in JVC Fire TV Edition (was £349; now £239)

This Fire TV was a likeable option at its RPP but it's even more tempting at this price. The Fire TV interface makes things wonderfully easy to use and at £269 for the 43in model, it's a solid all-in-one option for everyday TV and streaming on a budget.

7. 24in Toshiba WK3C (was £169; now £139)

While bigger often means better in the TV world and 4K is most definitely king, not everyone has the space, budget or need for a large-screen UHD television.

8. 43in LG UQ80 (was £399; now £330)

The UQ80 delivers a "True Cinema Experience" in Filmmaker Mode by using LG's display-end metadata (Active HDR) in combination with AI Sound technology. The Game Dashboard and Game Optimiser make it a budget-friendly choice for gamers as well as film fanatics.

9. 55in Panasonic LZ2000 (was £2,299; now £1,999)

No OLED TV we've tested this year can match the LZ2000 for immersive audio or image accuracy and its pair of HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K@120Hz and VRR mean it's a top choice for gamers, too. For more information read our full LZ2000 review.
